Who's been to a wedding in the Jenolan Caves!!

It was so quiet!! The quietest wedding I have ever conducted! I hardly had to speak and everyone could hear me very clearly.
My 4th Class Teacher happened to be a guest at the wedding which was a blowout and really cool to see him after all these years. Its incredible how much of an impact a teacher can make on you. This particular teacher was the favourite of all the kids, very funny, and ate clinkers all the time!(Its funny what you remember about someone, even 25 years later!!)
Anyway, We were in the Lucas Cave. The trek in was very exciting and 99% humidity and 15.1 degrees.
Some of the stairs are very small and super steep. It was modestly lit along the path we followed to the interior cave where the ceremony was held.
When the lights were turned on, they dimly, yet precisely amplified the beauty. I suddenly realised I was surrounded by eons of formations dripping down towards me. I was in awe of my amazing country yet again.
The Bride arrived and epitomised youth and beauty. She looked truly amazing in her vintage gown. She was serene and stoic. She didnt look nervous, but later she told me she was packing it!
I am blessed to experience such things, in unique places in the capacity of bringing people together with their life partner.
It was a long and little bit of a freaky drive home as dusk emraced the bush. The road is a little dodgy at the best of times, and in the fading light reduced my speed to about 20klm hr at times.
I saw afew bush turkeys, a fox, a wild pig, and a lovely little Eastern Gray Kangaroo.
I loved that wedding.
Go Australia!!!

Taronga Zoo Ceremony!

Wow!
Who's been to a Wedding at the ZOO???
Its absolutely without a doubt the best venue to marry!
Taronga Zoo has an amazing veiw of the city and the seclusion of where the actual ceremony is held is superbly gorgeous!
On Friday, the sun was shining and the sky was clear, no wind and beautiful people.
The Bride and Groom chose to include a Handfasting into their ceremony but the Groom forgot his ribbon, so I improvised and went ahead with the handfasting and it turned out fab!
The ever so beautiful Bride, was in her gorgeous gown and off they both went for some extra special photos with the fauna!

It was a really, really perfect day.

Winter Lovin'

Winter Lovin' is the best!
The winter weddings I have done over the past few weeks have been magical.
The cool crisp air, the smell of the Australian bush as the dew and fog lifts from the forest floor....Just reading this makes me want to take a deep breath!
I love Australia.
The people, the space, the sun.
If you want to relax and rejuvinate in winter, go sit in the sun for a little bit. Put your back to the sun and soak the energy in. Its a fab time of the year, even though most Australians complain about the cold; it is not really that cold!

On Sunday, I had a stand at the Bridal Fair at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre.
It was very productive and great to network with many other services within the industry and throw ideas around. My business grows as my mind and knowledge does.

New baby Boy!!

Hooray!!
Hollie-Berri is happy to inform you all who have been asking and patiently waiting.........It's a boy!
He was born on the 1st of May 2009 and is happy and healthy!
He eats like a machine and sleeps very well so far!

I conducted 2 Weddings on the weekend,....I am straight back into work!

The wedding at Cronulla on Sunday was absolutely fabulous. The weather was perfect and balmy, and the love between the couple was felt and shared with all of the guests. The belly laughs as well as a few happy tears made it lots of fun and exactly reflected the sunny characters the Bride and Groom are.

I cant wait to see the photos!
